Our mission
The Muslim Community Center exists to provide a welcoming home for worship, learning, and service in Houston, Texas. We aim to nurture faith and character, support families through every stage of life, and be a good neighbor to everyone around us.
Our story
What began as a small group meeting in rented rooms grew, through decades of volunteer effort, into a permanent center serving hundreds of families each week. The building has expanded step by step as the community has — classrooms first, then the hall, then the clinic space.
Leadership
Board of Trustees
Elected by members each year to oversee finances and long-term planning.
Education Committee
Runs the weekend school curriculum and adult classes.
Outreach Committee
Coordinates interfaith work, food drives, and neighborhood partnerships.
